How we encourage participation.
Austin ISD encourages the participation of Historically Underutilized Businesses in AISD bond programs and provides reports to the board of trustees twice each year. The monthly HUB participation reports are provided to the Community Bond Oversight Committee for review.

New HUB Spend Identified

As the HUB Program department continues to enhance the functionality of our reporting software to better suit our Program needs, we aligned our B2GNOW data with the CBOC HUB Report, allowing for more transparency of total HUB spend. Historically, the system was designed to capture project specific spend for construction and professional services.
The data alignment process resulted in identifying significant spend in goods and other services provided by HUB vendors that directly support the 2017 Bond Program activity.
