Austin ISD Pre-K provides safe learning environments for 3- and 4-year-olds at 73 campuses throughout Austin. Our program offerings include Head Start and Dual Language (Spanish/English) and Mandarin/English) are available at specific locations. Currently, a  Montessori-style program is available at one site. Our faculty includes certified teachers and teaching assistants who provide individualized attention to every student. Families in the city of Austin do not have to look too far for an exceptional Pre-K program. Austin ISD is committed to the well-being of all Austin children. The Pre-K3 and Pre-K4 programs are designed to prepare our youngest students for a lifetime of learning in a nurturing environment that supports curiosity and encourages discovery. Children who enter Pre-K in Austin ISD are encouraged to be curious as they learn about the world. Children in our Pre-K programs meet friends from various backgrounds, explore their talents and develop life skills such as self-advocacy.
