Update on Our Budget Timeline (En español)

Dear Austin ISD community,

I want to share my sincere gratitude with everyone who has taken the time to engage with us as we work to address the estimated $181 million budget gap for the upcoming school year. Whether you have attended our Budget Talks, campus budget conversations, internal workshops or shared your thoughts through our survey, your involvement has been crucial. We know these are difficult conversations, but with every discussion we have, we gain vital insights into the work and new ideas on how best to safeguard the programs and services our students rely on.

Update: BoardDocs has been restored. Thank you for your patience. Please contact us through AISDHelp if you encounter further issues.

We are currently experiencing a technical service outage with BoardDocs, the platform that houses board meeting materials. We are in contact with the service provider, but a time of restoration has not yet been established.

We understand the importance of timely access to meeting materials.

Boundary Process Virtual Kick-off Info Sessions

Austin ISD is resuming the boundary realignment process with a series of two kick-off sessions. Our objective remains to continue working toward building aligned feeder patterns and strengthening neighborhood schools while limiting continued disruptions.

These aligned patterns offer a unique opportunity to build stronger communities, improve programmatic alignment across grade levels and reduce the number of times a student cohort splits into different schools.
