Overview

At Pleasant Hill Elementary School, we are committed to supporting every student in becoming a world-class citizen and lifelong learner. Pleasant Hill is an EcoRise campus, where students receive instruction in environmental literacy, social innovation and hands-on design skills. As an Austin Literacy Academy, we connect students to content areas through self-reflection and written expression. We use the Creative Learning Initiative to engage students through fine arts, and our AVID designation helps us meet the social, organizational and higher thinking needs of students as they prepare for college.
