Located just a few blocks north of the University of Texas campus, Russell Lee Elementary School, a national Blue Ribbon School, opened in 1939 and maintains a multitude of longstanding traditions. At this neighborhood school, the basic curriculum is enriched by a focus on the arts and Social and Emotional Learning for all students. Students participate in Geography Day, science fair, Lee Olympics, music memory, art enrichment, Spanish and gardening.
