Overview

Cook Elementary, a neighborhood school located in north-central Austin, is rich in cultural and ethnic diversity. The overall school climate is best described by the school motto: "Learning, Sharing, Teaching, Caring." The outstanding faculty is committed to a unity of purpose focused on student success. Parents and many local business partners contribute numerous hours serving as mentors, tutors, and volunteers in the school. Cook offers a full-day Pre-Kindergarten Program and bilingual and ESL classes at every grade level.
