Uphaus Early Childhood Center

Overview

The Anita Uphaus Early Childhood Center is an early childhood, Dual Language school for students in Pre-K3, Pre-K4, and kindergarten. Named after Anita Uphaus, the school offers a child-centered, enriching learning environment where children, families, and staff engage with each other to promote personal, social, and educational success. We are committed to developing life-long learners by providing high quality instruction and focusing on the whole-child. The state-of-the-art facility, designed specifically for young learners, is located in Southeast Austin and opened in August 2012. The school's mission is to maximize each child's potential through a collaborative effort of family, staff, and community.

El Centro de Primera Infancia Anita Uphaus es una escuela para la primera infancia de Lenguaje Dual para estudiantes en Prekínder 3, Prekínder 4 y kínder. Nombrada en honor a Anita Uphaus, la escuela ofrece un entorno de aprendizaje enriquecedor y centrado en el niño donde los niños, las familias y el personal interactúan entre sí para promover el éxito personal, social y educacional.
