Overview
Hill Elementary School in northwest Austin, which has earned the designation of national Blue Ribbon School, offers a high-quality education to some 850 students in pre-K through fifth grade. Students have the opportunity to be a part of the Foreign Language Experiential Program, offering foreign language studies in first through fifth grades. The school offers a wide variety of activities, ranging from math pentathlon, choir, volleyball, student council, arts club and UIL.
Hill Elementary participates as a Clean Creek Campus, a partnership program of Keep Austin Beautiful and the City of Austin Watershed Protection Department. Students learn about the local watershed and Austin’s environmental landscape. During the school year, Hill students run a full marathon—26.2 miles—through Marathon Kids.
