Austin ISD 2024 Scorecard

""

The Austin ISD Board of Trustees will be working throughout the spring to develop the district’s Scorecard. This process is done in collaboration with families, staff, students and community members.

The Scorecard is composed of goals and constraints. The goals are a reflection of the community’s vision and the constraints act as guardrails that safeguard the community’s values in pursuit of that vision.

Thought Exchange

The board utilized Thought Exchange to gather input from the community about the district’s vision and values to guide the development of the district scorecard. A summary of these results was shared at the March 28 Regular Voting Meeting.

Engagement Meetings

Students, families, staff, and community members from across the district participated in a series of engagement opportunities hosted by Trustees in February and March. Feedback from all the meetings was gathered by Lone Star Governance Coach Ashley Paz. The Board will receive a formal presentation and engage in in-depth discussion on scorecard goals and constraints at a two-night Board Workshop, open to the public on April 17 and 18, 5:00 - 8:30 in the Board Auditorium.
