The primary goal of the Austin ISD Family Resource Centers (FRCs) is to provide support, resources and leadership opportunities that promote well‐being, self-sufficiency and the engagement of family members in our public schools.  The Family Resource Centers are located on school grounds at each of the current campus sites.

Families can receive support at the centers in five basic areas:

  • Housing
  • Employment
  • Access to healthcare
  • Social Connections
  • Education

Families and community members from any school may receive assistance and support from the Family Resource Centers. Support may include direct services, counseling, referrals and application assistance, and adult/parenting education opportunities. Families are welcome to utilize services at any FRC location.

FRCs are located on the following campuses:

  • Burnet Middle School
  • Dobie Middle School
  • Lanier High School
  • LBJ Early College High School
  • Martin Middle School
  • Mendez Middle School
