Burnet Middle School is committed to creating life- long learners and future leaders who can meaningfully interact with the world around them. Our campus is located in North Central Austin, where it opened in 1961. As an AVID college readiness campus, literacy is reinforced in all programming. Burnet was the first middle school in Austin ISD to offer two-way dual language programs. We are focused on community relationship-building amongst faculty, staff, students, and their families through our varied community partnerships.
