Certification
Since 2004, all new schools and major renovations have pursued nationally recognized green building certifications through Austin Energy Green Building (AEGB) and/or Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) . By the end of 2028, AISD expects to have 64 certified green buildings, supported largely through the 2017 and 2022 bond programs.
