Sunset Valley Celebrates 40th Anniversary
Sunset Valley Elementary will be celebrating their 40th anniversary by hosting two ceremonies on Thursday, Dec. 1, 2011. The website of the Austin School District has been honored with a “Sunny Award” by editors of the Sunshine Review, a non-profit organization that promotes state and local government transparency. LBJ Student Newspaper Earns National Honor
The LBJ High School student newspaper, The Liberator, has won a High School Newspaper Gold Crown award from the Columbia Scholastic Press Association during the recent 87th annual Scholastic Convention.
