AISD to Provide Free Meals for all Students through the 2020-21 School Year / El AISD proporcionará comidas gratuitas para todos los estudiantes durante todo el ciclo escolar 2020-21

The Texas Department of Agriculture recently announced an extension of current school meal programs through the 2020-21 school year. Through the federally-funded program, all Austin ISD students will receive free school meals through June 3, the last day of school.

Free Produce Boxes Extended Through Dec. 17 / Las cajas de productos agrícolas gratuitos se prolongan hasta el 17 de diciembre

AISD will continue to provide free, local Farm Fresh Boxes from The Common Market Texas through December 17 at specific AISD curbside meal sites. The boxes feature locally grown produce, such as peppers, melons, squash, carrots and other seasonal staples. The Common Market Texas, a mission-driven distributor of sustainable, local farm foods prepare and deliver the produce boxes to AISD.
