The annual Central Texas Dyslexia Conference will provide support to educators and families throughout the state Oct. 18. The event is held each October in observance of Dyslexia Awareness Month.
The event brings together families, educators, advocates, tutors, administrators and community leaders to learn how to best support the academic and emotional needs of students with dyslexia.
Based on district policy, the Superintendent or designee is responsible for bringing forward, for Board consideration and action, any proposal to name an existing part of the central office or a campus support facility, such as a cafeteria, gym or bus terminal.
School buildings shall be named by the Board, which may appoint a committee to study and suggest possible names for a school building. The Board also invites suggestions from all sources during its considerations.
Join current students, families and staff at Crockett Early College High School for the celebration of the school's 50th anniversary!

The event is free and open to the public. We hope you'll join us noon–4 p.m. Oct. 27 at Crockett ECHS, 5601 Manchaca Road.
