Austin ISD is in the process of identifying the future use of district properties that are underutilized or no longer in use. The process will be guided by the following priorities:

• Assess options by their ability to benefit the community.
• Select options that will make the most efficient use of the current site configuration.
• Assure future uses are financially viable.
• Assure the process is transparent.
• Value and preserve any historical or architectural significance of the buildings.
