High School Dual Language Programs

The program is intended for students who participated in middle school dual language and for native Spanish speakers new to the district.

The goals of Austin ISD's dual language programs are for students to excel academically while becoming bilingual, biliterate and bicultural. Our high school program includes a Spanish language/literature course and one Spanish core content (social studies, math and/or science) each year. Campuses can offer an elective that is a graduation requirement in place of a content course.
