General Marshall Middle School

Overview

General Marshall Middle School is located in Northeast Austin in the Mueller community. In the inaugural 2023-24 school year, we serve a cohort of 6th grade students. We will add a 7th and 8th grade in the next two years. Our goal is to create a joyful environment where teaching and learning is fun! We are equity-minded and believe social emotional learning should be ongoing in ALL classrooms for ALL students. With a college and career mindset, we cultivate the unique gifts and talents of every student, every day. Students engage in rigorous and meaningful learning in the full range of Fine Arts courses, AVID, and our Career and Technology pathways for Health Science, Engineering, and Computer Science. The General Marshall Middle School feeder campuses are for elementary are Blanton, Harris, Norman-Sims, Pecan Springs, to Northeast ECHS ; elementary are Andrews, Barbara Jordan, Norman-Sims, Overton to LBJ ECHS.
