The Board of Trustees appoints individuals to the CBOC to ensure that bond projects remain faithful to the scope of work approved by Austin voters.

Govalle Elementary School celebrated the beginning of its journey toward a modernized building with a groundbreaking Tuesday, September 25.
A few of the Govalle Junior Counselors expressed their opinions of the new school, among them fifth-grader Anthony Soto.
Soto will move on to sixth grade next year but said "I'm excited about the new library and classrooms for my sister!"
During the ceremony Govalle alumni announced that a time capsule with mementos and poems would be unearthed and opened in 2031, the year of Govalle Elementary's 100th anniversary.
Systemwide Testing coordinates the administration and processing of state and federally-mandated assessments, provides training and support for site test coordinators and principals, and ensures that appropriate test administration and security procedures are followed at all testing sites.
