We’re transitioning from Let’s Talk to AISD Help this summer (En español)
To streamline systems and respond to budget constraints, Austin ISD is sunsetting Let’s Talk on June 30. What’s next: We will be transitioning to AISD Help for general questions and concerns, and to Speak Up — a Gaggle product — for anonymous reporting. Both AISD Help and Speak Up come at no additional cost to the district as they are tools already used in other capacities.
Austin ISD teachers surprised as finalists for the H-E-B 2026 Excellence in Education Awards
Two amazing Austin ISD teachers received a big surprise on Jan. 13 as they learned they are finalists for the prestigious 2026 H-E-B Excellence in Education Awards. Joslin Elementary School Special Education Teacher Alasin DeVeny and Becker Elementary School Physical Education Teacher Megan Vasquez were surprised in their classrooms by H-E-B and district representatives.
