Austin ISD's Highland Park Elementary School Scottie Shooters Place Fourth at National Competition
Highland Park Elementary School's archery team, the Scottie Shooters, recently placed fourth in the nation out of 190 teams in Louisville, KY on May 11-12. This is the school's third year going to nationals, this year with a team of 47 fifth-graders and five-fourth graders. Today on National Food Day, Austin ISD Nutrition Services was recognized by the Center for Good Food Purchasing as a Good Food Institution Hero.
