Austin ISD moves to twice-monthly pay starting in July (en español)
Beginning in July 2023, all employees in all departments and at all campuses—full-time, part-time and substitutes—will get paid twice per month. Employees will receive their paychecks on the 15th and the last business day of each month, which is 24 paychecks per school year for everyone. Adapted Physical Education

Austin ISD Health Professions Program Could Bring More Students Opportunities in Health Careers
Austin ISD, in partnership with Dell Medical School at The University of Texas at Austin and Austin Community College, today announced a proposal to launch a Health Professions Program. The program would prepare students for a career in health professions, and would accept applications from students districtwide. The program is dependent on the bond passing in November.
