The International Welcome Center The International Welcome Center serves as a resource hub for newly arrived students and their families enrolled in Austin ISD. For newly arrived students, we support two main groups: (1) refugee and asylum students and their families and (2) newcomer students and their families.

AISD Holds 2015 Graduation Ceremonies June 2–6

AISD to Operate on Two-Hour Delay Tuesday, Jan. 28
This evening, the National Weather Service issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the Austin area until noon tomorrow, Tuesday, Jan. 28. Out of an abundance of caution, Austin ISD will open schools and run district buses on a two-hour delay tomorrow.The district will continue to monitor the weather, and will only call you again at or about 6 a.m. only if the district needs to cancel school tomorrow…
