Crockett High School Thespians Take Top National Honors
More than 1,200 high school players recently took to the stages at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln to vie for the title of top thespians. Competing in six categories, Crockett High School Thespian Troupe No. 1924 placed first in High School Group Acting at the 2015 International Thespian Festival in late June.
No School on Feb. 22-23, remote classes only Feb. 24 & 25, asynchronous Friday, Feb 26.

Kealing Teacher Attends Space Camp to Improve Science Teaching Skills
Kealing Middle School science teacher Logan Pearce recently returned from the Honeywell Educators @ Space Academy at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, AL. Pearce was one of 250 educators from 27 countries and 47 states to receive a scholarship for the all-expense paid professional development program.

LBJ Boys Basketball Coach Heads Back to the Court
The timing just wasn’t sitting right with Freddie Roland, LBJ Early College High School boys basketball coach, who recently retired after 25 years of service. Just days into his retirement, Roland announced his plan to return as head coach of the Jaguars.
