Dear Austin ISD families,
 
While we've seen some improvements in the city as the weather begins to warm up, we recognize that many students and families may still be facing challenges. We want to provide our students, families, and community the opportunity to recover and reset during this time.
 
Therefore, we will not hold school, remotely or in-person, on Monday, Feb. 22nd and Tuesday, Feb. 23rd. We are tentatively planning to provide 100 percent remote instruction on Wednesday, Feb. 24th and Thursday, Feb. 25th with Friday, Feb. 26th being an asynchronous day of instruction. Please keep your children safe at home for remote learning. No students should report to campus as buses will not be running any regular routes. We do plan to provide Wi-Fi bus service in high need areas.
 
Face to face, in-person classes for those who have so chosen will resume Monday, March 1st.

Si bien hemos visto algunas mejoras en la ciudad a medida que el clima comienza a calentarse, reconocemos que muchos estudiantes y familias todavía pueden estar enfrentando desafíos. Queremos proporcionar a nuestros estudiantes, familias y comunidad la oportunidad de recuperarse y restablecerse durante este tiempo.
 
Por lo tanto, no celebraremos la escuela, remota o en persona, el lunes 22 de febrero y el martes 23 de febrero. Estamos planeando tentativamente proporcionar instrucción 100 por ciento remota el miércoles 24 de febrero y el jueves 25 de febrero con el viernes 26 de febrero siendo un día asincrónico de instrucción. Por favor, mantenga a sus hijos seguros en casa para el aprendizaje remoto. Ningún estudiante debe reportarse al campus, ya que los autobuses no realizarán ninguna ruta regular. Planeamos proporcionar servicio de autobús Wi-Fi en áreas de alta necesidad.
 
Cara a cara, las clases presenciales para los que así lo han elegido, se reanudarán el lunes 1 de marzo.
