International High eying a move north to accommodate influx of immigrant students
In response to a big influx of newly arrived immigrant students, Austin ISD is talking with stakeholders about moving International High School next school year from Eastside Early College High School at the L.C. Anderson campus to co-locate with Northeast ECHS.

Because of expected weather and road conditions, we will delay the start time for classes, buses and offices by two hours tomorrow, Feb. 24. The curtain rose on the 2011 State of the District address at McCallum Arts Center to reveal Superintendent Carstarphen standing in the rain, produced through the wizardry of McCallum theater team members.Holding an umbrella and wearing a rain coat and boots, she welcomed more than 200 guests to the tune, “Singing in the Rain” performed by the McCallum First Edition Choir.
