Members of Travis County Taxpayer’s Union Drop Their Appeal in Lawsuit Against AISD
AUSTIN, Texas—Members of the Travis County Taxpayer’s Union have dropped their appeal of a lawsuit against Austin ISD, which will allow the district to carry out the will of the voters by moving forward on the bond package.Critical needs will be the district’s first priority in implementing the use of funds.

Voters Approve District's $1.05 Billion Bond Package
Travis County voters overwhelmingly approved the district's $1.05 billion bond proposal, which includes 16 new or modernized campuses and 21st-century learning spaces for students throughout the district.According to unofficial results from the Travis County Clerk's office, 72.06 percent of voters cast their ballots in favor of the proposition.

AISD Operates on Normal Schedule Monday
All Austin ISD schools and offices will operate on a normal schedule Monday, Nov. 25.Students and families are encouraged to dress warmly and stay safe while traveling or walking to school. There are no changes to bus routes or pickups times; however, families should expect traffic delays due to weather. Any tardies due to the weather will be excused.
