Today, Austin ISD released its annual demographic report. The report shows the district will see student population increases in northwest, far south and southeast Austin. Crockett Student Named Gates Millennium Scholarship Finalist
Adam Garibay, a senior at Crockett High School, has been informed that he is a Gates Millennium Scholars finalist. The Gates Millennium Scholars program will select 1,000 talented students from across the United States to receive a good-through-graduation scholarship, to use at any college or university of their choice.
Transportation Appreciation Week
Austin ISD will say thank you to its transportation employees during National School Bus Safety Week, October 17-21. This year’s theme is, “Be Aware – Know the Danger Zone!”Transportation employees will be recognized on Monday, October 17 at 6:00 a.m. at the Saegert terminal and on Tuesday, October 17 at 6:00 a.m. at the Nelson terminal.
