Elementary School Dual Language Program
Dual Language Campuses Dual Language in Elementary Austin ISD offers Dual Language programs at 57 elementary schools, providing students with a multilingual education. Spanish/English Dual Language is available at 55 schools, Mandarin/English Dual Language at 3 schools, and Vietnamese/English Dual Language at 1 school.

AISD will partner with the Central Texas Food Bank to provide access to healthy food while campuses are closed for spring break. AISD curbside meal sites will serve free seven-day meal packs prior to the break on Thursday, March 11. Families may pick up an additional seven-days worth of meals at the Food Bank’s mass distribution event:

AISD Makes the Choice a Little Easier
As part of Austin ISD’s National School Choice Week celebration, Superintendent Paul Cruz announced that Austin ISD will offer transportation to Gus Garcia Young Men’s Leadership Academy districtwide, starting next school year. Districtwide transportation will allow more young men in sixth- through eighth-grade who wish to go to an all-boys school the opportunity to do so.
