50 Years of Excellence at LBJ

LBJ Early College High School invites the community to celebrate its 50 Years of Excellence at LBJ with their 2024 Homecoming Game and Senior Night.

Join the LBJ community as it celebrates homecoming and its 50th with a proclamation made by the City of Austin and a special guest lineup.

The evening will consist of a tailgate, senior night announcements, a gallery walk, photobooth, a band performance during halftime and Homecoming court. 

Dobie Beauty Academy Showcase

Join the Dobie Middle School Beauty Academy on Friday, December 20, from 5:30 to 6:45 p.m., as students showcase the skills they have developed in the program! Groups of four will take 45 minutes to demonstrate hair, makeup, or both on training mannequins. The event is open to the public, and guests can enjoy appetizers from Dobie's culinary program team, and ask the students questions! From 6:15-6:45 p.m., guests and students will have the opportunity to network.

Staff invited to the Austin ISD Employee College Fair (En Español)

Austin ISD Employee College Fair attendees will have the opportunity to learn about partnerships with colleges and universities and learn more about options for Associate’s, Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs.

This event is hosted by the Office of Talent Strategy and is open to all current Austin ISD staff only. This even is not intended for current students.

Inclusive Schools Week

Inclusive Schools Week and Special Education Staff Appreciation Week provide campuses with the opportunity to initiate practices to further ensure schools continue to improve their goal of successfully educating and including ALL children while celebrating the integral role of our special education service providers (case managers, TAs, SLPs, Related Services).
