(Please carefully read the related note at the top of the meeting agenda, and the district's standard Communication and Visitor Guidelines.)

African American Heritage Celebration

This is the 39th annual year for the event, which will honor over 130 students and seven community and staff members who made a contribution to Austin ISD.

Each year the African American Heritage Committee selects a high school to showcase the talent at the school and to host the program. This year the committee has chosen Northeast High School and the theme is "Elevating Future Leaders by Advancing the Dream."

Brain Power

Join us for a series of learning strategies to help you support your child at home.

Austin ISD offers a series of virtual workshops for families on the Neurosequential Model in Education or NME.

Due to the collective trauma caused by the pandemic as well as the unprecedented rise in mental health problems, we want to ensure that families are equipped with information on how the brain works, and know how to support their children at home.
