Austin ISD to host 2021 High School Fair

High school students can have it all in Austin ISD.

Current and future high school students and their families are invited to attend the 2021 High School Fair to learn about the dozens of programs offered in Austin ISD.

Austin ISD’s 17 high schools offer diverse and innovative programs for students, such as advanced academics, early college high school, fine arts, T-STEM, career and technical education in computer technology, real estate, education, construction, cybersecurity, hospitality or healthcare, and more.

Mendez Middle School Community Conversation

We will be holding a community conversation regarding the current T-STEM Texas partnership. 

  • Why it matters: We are committed to working together to do what’s best for students at Mendez. We value the partnership we’ve had with T-STEM Texas and want to determine the best way to support students in the future. 

Please join us to discuss what’s possible for Mendez in the upcoming school year from 6:30–8 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 15, in the Mendez Middle School Library. 

COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic - AISD Central Office

Students ages 5-11 can get their free COVID-19 vaccine this Saturday at a districtwide vaccine clinic hosted by Austin ISD and Vax Together Austin.

Why it matters: The vaccine is the safe and effective way to make sure kids are protected from COVID-19. 

The clinic will be held from 8 a.m.-noon on Saturday, Dec. 11 at the Austin ISD Central Office (4000 S I-35 Frontage Rd, Austin, TX 78704).

Yes, but: There will be no adult vaccines or boosters at this event, this is a first-dose clinic for ages 5-11 only.
