Virtual Middle School Fair

Families of current and future middle school students are invited to Austin ISD's 2020 Virtual Middle School Fair.

Students and their families can learn about the diverse and innovative programming offered in Austin ISD, enjoy student performances, and hear from current students, families and faculty from our 19 middle schools about the amazing programs and classes open to our middle school students.

The fair will be hosted nightly December 8–11, 2020 from 6:30–7 p.m. on AISD’s Facebook page.

Annual Report

Once a year the Office of Head Start requires that each grantee compile an Annual Report to the Public, which shares a synthesis of program data, budget/funds expenditures, and parent family engagement data. Below is the most recent Annual Report for the AISD Head Start grant.

Austin ISD Implements Substitute Pay Increase

Austin ISD will increase the pay for substitute teachers and teaching assistants beginning Nov. 16 with a potential of $210 per day for certified teachers.

The district is currently accepting applications for the 2020-21 school year.

The benefits of being a substitute teacher include the flexibility to work as many days as desired, providing instruction on a variety of subjects, and working directly with students in a dynamic classroom setting.
