In-Person Graduation Walks–PM

Austin ISD will host in-person graduation walks on June 23-25 to further celebrate the Class of 2020. Following social distancing guidelines, the AISD Class of 2020 will have the opportunity to walk across the stage in their cap and gown and celebrate with loved ones. 

The Tuesday, June 23 afternoon walks are from 5-8 p.m. and include the following schools and locations:

Austin ISD to Provide Summer Family Support

Austin ISD will be providing support to all district families through the Parent Support Specialists program during the summer, through July 31.

Eighteen parent support specialists, three part-time family support coordinators and one social service specialist will be available to engage and support families. Parent Support Specialists traditionally work with Title 1 campuses during the school year, however, as part of the additional summer supports, all families will be able to access the knowledge and support of the program.

Austin ISD Student Survey Now Open

Austin ISD students in grades six through 11 are invited to provide feedback on the past spring semester as the district considers possibilities for the 2020-21 school year. 

In planning, the health and wellness of students, staff and families will continue to be a top priority. Feedback from students who engaged with continuous learning practices will provide valuable information.
