After months of independent analysis and community collaboration, the Facilities and Bond Planning Advisory Committee is nearing completion of the recommended Facility Master Plan.

Media Access to Schools Limited During STAAR Examination Periods

Austin ISD students are scheduled to take state exams, including the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness, beginning March 28 through May.

To reduce distractions and help students focus on their tests, the media’s access to AISD campuses will be limited during the weeks of March 27, May 1 and May 8.

In addition, the district will administer advanced placement exams, also commonly referred to as AP exams, May 1–12.
