All Austin ISD high school juniors and seniors are invited to attend and meet with representatives from more than 100 colleges and universities at the 2016 Austin ISD College Fair.
Buses at each campus will transport students to the Delco Center, 4601 Pecan Brook Drive. Students may preregister for the event at www.gotocollegefairs.com.
This event is in partnership with the Texas Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers.
The White House awarded Austin ISD Kealing Middle School math teacher Patty Hill a Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching.
The Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching is the highest recognition that a kindergarten through 12th grade mathematics or science teacher may receive for outstanding teaching in the United States.

Austin ISD once again hit an all-time high graduation rate. The class of 2015 graduation rate of 89.7 percent is a new record high, up 3.4 percentage points over the prior year and up more than 15 percentage points since 2008.
Anderson High School is among the best in the nation, according to Newsweek's America's Top High Schools rankings for 2016. Anderson is one of only two Austin-area schools featured among 1,000 in the annual nationwide ranking.
