Crockett Vertical Team Entrepreneurship Unveiling

Join Crockett High School Principal Craig Shapiro for the unveiling of the nation's first K–12 entrepreneurship program.

The event begins at 10 a.m. April 30 in the Crockett library, 5601 Manchaca Road.

The Student Enterprise Incubator gives students an opportunity to learn about the business world, effectively communicate and fully develop an idea from inception to market.

Students will meet CEOs of small businesses, visit start-up companies, learn how to raise capital to start a venture and so much more! 

AISD Succeeds, Wins Championships in Chess, Film, Latin, Swimming, Forensics, Drill Team and More

Austin ISD and the Board of Trustees recognize and applaud the outstanding achievements of AISD students. Tonight, a special meeting of the Board of Trustees recognizes student success. These recognitions cover a wide variety of skills and awards, and showcase some of the wonderful accomplishments students in the district have made.

Austin ISD Board of Trustees Recognize Student Successes

Austin ISD and the AISD Board of Trustees recognize and applaud the outstanding achievements of AISD students. Trustees recognized this student success at a special meeting Monday night.

These recognitions cover a wide variety of skills and awards, and showcase some of the accomplishments AISD students have made during the 2014–15 school year.

Martin Middle School College & Career Fair

Students and families from the Eastside Memorial family of schools are invited to a college and career fair this Saturday, April 25.

This free event gives students a chance to meet with college representativess and learn about career opportunities in STEM, nursing, technology, culinary arts, cosmetology, engineering and law enforcement.

There will also be refreshments and door prizes! The event is 10 a.m. at Martin Middle School, 1601 Haskell Road.

The event features free health screenings, more than 20 community and city agencies providing free health information, a bike rodeo for the entire family, free summer camp registrations, door prizes and free healthy snacks.
