The meetings combine workshops and group support to share information about issues, trends, therapies, strategies and resources that families may find useful. Presentations include Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADD/ADHD, support for guardians and more. Agencies supporting the Family Support Coop include the Austin Independent School District, Austin Travis County Integral Care, Easter Seals of Central Texas, NAMI Austin, and the ARC of the Capital Area. Each semester, hundreds of parents and supporters from central Texas participate in the Cooperative designed for parents with children of all ages and types of disabilities.
