AISD's Office of Facilities will host a community-wide meeting about the purpose of the district's Facility Master Plan. Team members will provide a snapshot of the district's profile and financials and review the board-approved Facility Master Plan's guiding principles.

The Facility Master Plan outlines the current status and future use of district facilities, guides the development of future capital improvements and supports planning for future bond elections. It is a living document and will be reviewed through a recommended review cycle.

The Austin Family Support Cooperative Meetings are held to inform and support families of children and adults with disabilities. The meetings combine workshops and group support to share information about issues, trends, therapies, strategies and resources that families may find useful. Presentations include Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADD/ADHD, support for guardians and more. Agencies supporting the Family Support Coop include the Austin Independent School District, Austin Travis County Integral Care, Easter Seals of Central Texas, NAMI Austin, and the ARC of the Capital Area. Each semester, hundreds of parents and supporters from central Texas participate in the Cooperative designed for parents with children of all ages and types of disabilities. Parents, siblings, caregivers and educators are all welcome.
