AISD Gives: Making a Difference Starts With You

Dear Team AISD:

The district has a proud tradition of giving back and our employees are always ready to show they care! As part of our efforts to give back to our community, Austin ISD and Charitable Funds Inc. are excited to partner with United Way for Greater Austin to bring you a robust and exciting campaign. Our goal this year is to reach 75% participation. Every donation you give, no matter the amount, makes a huge difference in the community.

AISD Celebrates National Hispanic Heritage Month

Every year from Sept. 15 to Oct. 15, Austin ISD joins the rest of the country to observe National Hispanic Heritage Month—a celebration of the diverse cultures and riveting histories of the people in this country with ancestral roots in Spain, Mexico, Central and South America. This month, celebrating our rich cultural Latin traditions is especially meaningful in AISD, where more than 60 percent of students identify themselves as Hispanic or Latino.
