AISD and the Career and Technical Education Department would like to invite you to share your insights and feedback on improving the accessibility and expansion of the CTE program. This is one of the district’s potential 2013-14 Annual Academic and Facility Recommendations.

What: Austin ISD would like to invite you to a community meeting to learn about proposed facility recommendations for the Fine Arts program. This meeting will take on Thursday, Dec. 6, at 6:30 p.m. in the cafeteria at Bowie High School.
The potential facility recommendations are being referred to the Citizens’ Bond Advisory Committee for possible inclusion in the scope of work for the next bond program.

Austin ISD would like to invite you to share your feedback on potential academic scenarios for a future high school in South Austin.
The South High School community meeting will take place on Thursday, November 29 at 6:30 p.m. in the cafeteria at Bowie High School, at 4103 Slaughter Lane.

What: Dual Language Program Expansion (AAFR) Community Meeting.
What: AAFR Public Hearing.
The Austin Independent School District Administration will hold a public hearing on Monday, November 26, beginning at 6:30 pm in the Delco Activity Center, located at 4601 Pecan Brook Dr.
The purpose of the public hearing is to provide an opportunity for the public to provide comment on the 2013-14 Annual Academic and Facilities Recommendations (AAFRs). One or more board members may attend this meeting.
Speakers may sign up beginning at 5:30 pm on November 26 at the Delco Activity Center.
Individuals must sign-up only for themselves and may not yield time to others. Each speaker will be provided two minutes to share their feedback. If you are unable to attend, please share your feedback online.

What: Austin ISD would like to invite you to a community meeting regarding potential facility renovations for Rosedale School and Clifton Career Development School on Saturday, November 10, from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the cafeteria at Clifton Career Development School, located at 1519 Coronado Hills Drive.
Join us for a brief presentation and community focused discussion to address the potential facility renovations and their affects on academic programming. We welcome your feedback and any additional input you can provide.

What: South High School (AAFR) Community Meeting
What: Fine Arts (AAFR) Community Meeting.
What: The League of Women Voters of the Austin Area will host a community conversation regarding middle schools in District One. The conversation will focus on what the community says about the shared responsibility in providing leadership that helps make education work for middle schoolers in the district.
Participation requires pre-registration. You may register by emailing Nancy Oelklaus at nancyoelklaus@gmail.com.
A light meal and interpretation services will be provided.
