Austin ISD policy states that the District shall establish a program of annual awards to high school students to recognize and encourage outstanding academic achievement. The award shall be of Districtwide significance rather than identified by individual schools. It shall be known as the “Trustees’ Scholar Award” and shall be awarded annually….
