After-School Tuition Explanation
For the convenience of our families we utilize a stable monthly tuition rate to assist with budgeting. Once the tuition rate is established for the school year the amount is broken down into 10 equal payments. This allows the tuition to not fluctuate between months and enables our families to spread the cost of the tuition evenly throughout the school year. At this time we do not offer a daily or weekly tuition rate.

Summer Camp Tuition Explanation
To provide our families with more flexibility during the summer we offer a weekly tuition rate for the camps. This allows parents to pick which weeks work best for their families individual needs.

Payment Options
The 3rd Base Program accepts electronic payments through Tuition Express. With Tuition Express you can pay either through draft or create an online account. Credit card payments (Visa, MasterCard, or Discover only) can be made over the phone or in person at your student’s after-school campus. Credit or debit payments are the only payments accepted at the campus during program time.
When you provide a check as payment, you authorize the Austin ISD 3rd Base Program either to use information from your check to make a one-time electronic funds transfer from your account, or to process the payment as a check transaction. When we use information from your check to make an electronic funds transfer, funds may be withdrawn from your account as soon as the same day your payment is received, and you will not receive your canceled check back from your financial institution.

Agency Assistance Programs
The 3rd Base Program contracts with a variety of agencies that offer child care subsidies including, but not limited to:
- Workforce Solutions (CCS),
- City of Austin (COA),
- Austin Community College (ACC), and;
- Child Care Aware of America (CCAoA).
We do accept agency subsidies throughout the entire calendar year of services. In addition to completing all 3rd Base Program required enrollment processes, customers are responsible for contacting the agency directly, completing agency enrollment requirements, and verifying eligibility based on the agency’s guidelines. Payment of fees is the responsibility of the customer unless the agency contract agreement reassigns that responsibility in part, or in full, to the agency.
Financial Assistance Scholarships
There are a limited number of partial scholarships available through the 3rd Base Program for use toward tuition for all of the programs offered by the 3rd Base Program. The 3rd Base Program Financial Assistance Applications are available by contacting the program office. Completed applications must be submitted with all required documentation and must be renewed every six months. Incomplete applications will not be processed, this includes any required documentation. Applications for each school year will be made available beginning in August of that year and will be accepted through May. Financial assistance does not cover the following:
- Registration Fees
- Deposits for CAMPS
- Returned Check or Declined Draft Fees
- Late Payment Fees
- Late Pick-Up Fees.
