Parenting with Love and Logic Workshops
The Austin Independent School District’s Parent Support Office will be offering free one-night workshops focused on “Parenting with Love and Logic" to provide parents with simple and practical techniques to effectively handle challenging child behaviors. Coats for Kids 2018
Austin ISD has partnered with The Junior League of Austin to provide free shuttle transportation for Coats for Kids 2018. This year's event is 8 a.m.–3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, at the Palmer Events Center, 900 Barton Springs Road. Buses begin picking up families at 7 a.m. and return every hour, beginning at 9 a.m. The last bus will leave the Palmer Events Center at 3:30 p.m.
Blackshear Elementary Invites Community to Little East Austin Studio Tour

Central Texas Historical Juneteenth Parade
Join Austin ISD on June 17 as we march in the annual Central Texas Historical Juneteenth Parade. Students, staff and community will march behind the Austin ISD Juneteenth banner along with the All-Star Band under the direction of Northeast ECHS Band Director, Rory Guice.
