AISD Adopts Summer Efficiency Schedule for Six Weeks to Save Energy
Beginning June 23 and ending Aug. 8, Austin ISD will operate on a summer efficiency schedule to reduce energy costs. The district's average savings from the summer efficiency program is about $486,000.All schools and offices will adopt a four-day week during this time. Kindergarten Round-up is being offered at 9 a.m. Tuesday, May 1, at all elementary schools in the Austin Independent School District. Children who will be five years old on or before September 1, are eligible to be enrolled in AISD.
Austin ISD Releases Preliminary Draft of Facility Master Plan For Public Comment
AUSTIN, Texas—Austin ISD has released a preliminary draft of the Facility Master Plan for public comment.
