Two AISD Students place in International Science and Engineering Final Competition
From calculating how stars orbit to finding a better way to kill mosquitos, two Austin ISD students recently demonstrated their scientific acumen on the national level. The students placed in their respective categories at the Regeneron International Science and Engineering finals on May 21. The competition is the world's largest pre-collegiate science research STEM competition.

The District's DELTA (Diversified Education Through Leadership, Technology, Academics) program is now available at the Willie Mae Kirk branch of the Austin Public Library to Austin ISD students who need to recover credits in English I, II & III and U.S. History or earn credits in Government and Economics.
