The Austin ISD Board of Trustees voted April 24 to appoint a trustee to fill the District 6 vacancy created by the recent resignation of Trustee Paul Saldaňa. The board will accept applications from people interested in the seat, and is expected to fill the vacancy June 12.Applicants may file 8 a.m.–5 p.m. April 27–May 8, and may do so in person, by mail or by email.
