The following are the Head Start Policy Council regular meeting dates for the 2023-24 school year. HSPC meetings are normally scheduled on Tuesday mornings from 8am to 10am. Austin ISD was awarded the District of Distinction Award for the Visual Arts for the third year in a row on Aug. 31. The District of Distinction award is given annually by the Texas Art Education Association to recognize school districts that are providing high-quality arts programs to students and promoting them to the community.
