Campus Improvement Plans
Each school year the principal of each campus, with the assistance of the Campus Advisory Council, must develop, review and revise the Campus Improvement Plan (CIP). The purpose of this plan is to improve student performance on the state’s student achievement indicators for all student populations, as well as improve performance on any other performance measures for special needs populations.
Free Physicals available for Austin ISD students participating in sports and band
In partnership with Travis County Medical Society, Austin ISD will offer free physicals for Middle and High School students who want to participate in athletics, cheerleading or high school marching band in 2019-2020 school year. These clinics are available for children without a primary care physician or the ability to obtain a sports physical.
Northeast Elementary School to Receive $25 Million Investment
Norman Elementary School is among the first of 17 campuses across the district where construction will begin as part of the 2017 bond.Projects within the bond will support the district’s vision to reinvent public education by creating 21st century learning spaces which include bright, collaborative spaces, state-of-the-art technology, outdoor classrooms and community spaces.
AISD Schools Honored for Going Green
