Austin ISD to Adjust Meal Distribution
AISD will adjust its meal distribution plan to provide meals Monday through Friday, no longer providing weekend meals, starting April 3. The adjustment was necessary after the Texas Department of Agriculture changed its policy around reimbursement of weekend meals. Cap Metro Extends the Summer Fun: All students ride free through Dec. 10
Now through Dec. 10 all students with a valid school ID can ride any Cap Metro transit free-of-charge—an extension of their summer offer of free public transport to all kids. To take advantage of this, students must show their school-issued ID to the bus operator or fare inspector.
