Inspired by the book, "One Zillion Valentines" by Frank Modell, about a little boy who sets out to make one zillion Valentines and put them on people’s doorsteps on Valentine’s Day, the students will be hand-delivering Valentine's Day cards to businesses in the community Feb. 14.

AISD Teacher Appointed to City of Austin’s Asian American Quality of Life Advisory Commission
AUSTIN, Texas—Austin City Councilman Bill Spelman appointed AISD’s Summit Elementary School’s Thuy Nguyen to the Asian American Quality of Life Advisory Commission on February 27.“I love helping the underprivileged,” Nguyen said. “It is an honor and a blessing to be in a position which allows me to assist the Asian American population in improving their lives and having their voices heard.”
